William Bolton is the CEO of Convergent Financial Technologies, Inc. Bill has been an innovator and a leader in the insurance and annuity technology industry for over 30 years holding positions such as CEO, Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer, and System Architect within several organizations including State Street Bank, FAST Technology, Princeton Financial Systems, and Adminovate. Bill was also the co-founder of Barton and Bolton Associates, Inc. Barton and Bolton Associates developed the market leading product UVT which was acquired by State Street in the fall of 2007 and has led over 60 successful implementations of pricing and trading platforms. With extensive knowledge in insurance products, software design, and process re-engineering, Bill is at the forefront of developing new technologies to better serve this industry. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Mathematics at the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts in North Adams, MA.

Paul DeCristoforo is the founder and CTO of Convergent Financial Technologies. At his previous employer, Princeton Financial Systems, Paul enhanced PAM for Unit Value Trade (UVT) from an older mainframe COBOL technology to an application that utilizes Microsoft technologies to reduce technology risk. With 10+ years of experience in the annuity technology industry, Paul has devoted his working career to developing and supporting pricing and trading systems. With a strong business and technical background, Paul has transformed the future of the industry with UV Cloud®. Paul earned his BSBA in Finance and Computer Information Systems and his MBA at Rider University in Lawrenceville, NJ.

Thomas Auchinleck is the CIO of Convergent Financial Technologies. Before joining the Convergent team, Thomas managed the Technical Support team for VoicePulse, a leading provider in the VoIP industry. Under his tenure, the company’s support rating reached A+ with the Better Business Bureau. He worked with development to increase service up time and response time to critical system issues, for customers. At Princeton Financial Systems, Thomas was a lead developer for PAM for Unit Value Trade (UVT) and worked directly with clients to improve the software and the customer experience. With 10 years of experience in both IT support and development, Thomas has used his skills to create the architecture behind UV Cloud’s SaaS Environment. Thomas earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a specialization in Computer Information Systems at Rider University in Lawrenceville, NJ.

Timothy McKenna is the SVP of Product Development at Convergent Financial Technologies. With over 15 years of experience in the insurance technology industry, Tim has occupied a variety of leadership positions covering design, development, implementation, and project management for several leading policy administration solution vendors such as AdminServer, Oracle and FAST Technology. Prior to Convergent Financial Technologies, Tim held the role of Solution Architect at FAST Technology where he led several project teams successfully implementing FAST’s policy administration platform. Earlier in his career, Tim worked at Oracle where he used his broad expertise across the business and technical aspects of core insurance systems to manage a global sales engineering team supporting Oracle’s insurance policy administration solution. Tim’s background working both domestically and internationally allows him to bring a diverse perspective to problem solving. Tim earned his Bachelor of Science in Communication Studies at West Chester University in West Chester, PA.

SVP Solutions Architect
John Miller is the SVP Solutions Architect at Convergent Financial Technologies. His career has spanned over 30 years in software development with more than 20 of those in the financial software industry. Over this time, John became an experienced expert in areas such as coding, database design, reporting, architecture, and integration. John was a VP at Princeton Financial Systems, where he was head of development for three separate applications – PAM for Unit Value Trade, PAM for Mortgages, and InfoHub. In this role, John worked closely with clients, on both the business and technical side, and with various internal groups to devise the best solutions that would not only meet the clients’ needs but also be viable for years to come. John earned his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering at Rutgers University and his Master of Science degree on Computer Engineering, also at Rutgers University.

Brett Harmon is a Lead Software Engineer, specializing in full-stack development, at Convergent Financial Technologies. Brett has over three years of experience in the pricing and trading world and has shown strong entrepreneurial skills throughout his young career. His excellent problem-solving skills, inquisitiveness, and analytical approach helped him get through a rigorous two-year internship program with Convergent and demonstrated his ability to apply technology to solve business problems. Brett’s commitment to learning all sides of the variable insurance industry makes him an invaluable resource on all projects and is a key addition to our leadership team. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science at York College of Pennsylvania in York, PA.
